SUMAGRI

In Development

In Development. An Android-priority agricultural application connecting field records, practical knowledge and AI assistance. Other platforms must earn their place through usefulness in actual working conditions.

01

A farming system, not a single feature

The scope connects crops, soil, water, climate, crop health, livestock, markets and cooperative work. Reference content and field records serve different tasks: learning a practice, recording an observation, comparing information and deciding when qualified agronomic input is needed.

02

Android and a wider platform architecture

Android is a priority for field workflows; additional mobile and web experiences will be selected around device access and organisational needs. Messaging channels or APIs may complement the product, but do not define its full scope. The application has not been publicly released.

03

Field work without a signal

The offline-first brief covers local observations, activity records and selected knowledge. Synchronisation needs conflict handling, clear timestamps and recovery after interruption. Shared devices require role and privacy decisions. Remote AI, live prices and weather feeds cannot be represented as fresh when the connection is absent.

04

Agricultural language in context

A crop name, symptom or practice can vary across regions and languages. Local-language support needs producer input, agricultural terminology and qualified review. Translation and voice interfaces are separate evaluation questions; neither is announced as a released feature.

05

Practical AI, qualified interpretation

Research includes multilingual retrieval and organisation of field observations. Image-assisted crop-health triage requires local datasets, permission to use images and agronomist evaluation. Any output must preserve uncertainty and distinguish general knowledge from a treatment recommendation. Producer data and location need explicit controls.

06

Evidence from the working environment

A pilot brief must name the production setting, season, devices, reviewers and evaluation method. Tests need to include weak networks, stale information and cooperative use. Market and weather sources require verification before integration. No yield, income or prediction result is promised.

01

Define farming contexts, priority languages and cooperative workflows.

02

Prototype Android records, local knowledge packages and synchronisation.

03

Test agronomic relevance, usability and data governance in context.

Product briefs describe development work. Release access, supported features and commercial terms will be stated separately.

Active development — before any pilot

SUMAGRI’s interface switches between 14 languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Hindi, isiZulu, Yoruba, Fongbe and Kiswahili. Full linguistic quality and feature parity remain subject to validation. SUMAGRI is an agricultural ecosystem beyond its application. Advance Harvest is also in development. Dashboard figures are not verified adoption data.

No pilot deployment has begun. Integrations, offline features and AI functions are not presented as end-to-end verified.
